We're all mad here.
Welcome to the world of internet. Here in the forest, dark and deep, we offer thee, eternal sleep. Where you will find both- love and betrayal, joy and tragedy, drama and monotony, free minds and oppressed minds in spades. Imagination is the only weapon against reality. Here is where you'll find an army.

I'm back with horror! #Horrorfilms
Oh my gods, I noticed the horrible
typo mistake in my last post! I am so sorry! The pasta name is the music
man.
Today, I will talk about some
iconic horror movies. We all know about The shining, Exorcist and so on classic
horror films. So instead of discussing those, let's move on to some unknown
ones, shall we, folks? Today will focus on some lovely K-horror(Korean horror)
and J-horror( Japanese horror) and other Asian horror films I found. The bold
parts are from IMDb/Wiki. Starting off with Korean horror then!
#1 A tale of two
sisters/ Janghwa, Hongryeon
This one is a true
horror film, with numerous plot -twists that leave you speechless and wondering
how it is possible. The plot focuses on two sisters who, after returning home
from a psychiatric hospital, experience increasingly disturbing events
involving both them and their stepmother. Has gore, but is worth a watch.
Koreans know their shit, and they know how to scare you with it.
#2 Face
Hyun-min (Shin
Hyun-jun) works for the police, reconstructing faces by examining and
interpreting their skulls. His daughter undergoes a heart transplant, and as
her condition deteriorates, he loses his interest in his job. Hyun-min suspects
that his daughters illness after the operation is caused by the heart, although
her doctor, Dr. Yoon, tell him that his daughter is experiencing only minor
complications. Distraught, Hyun-min quits his job to care for his duaghter full
time. Meanwhile, the police are dealing with a series of bizarre murder cases,
where the victim has had all their flesh dissolved away with acid, leaving only
the bones behind. Sun-young (Song Yoon-ah) brings the skull of the fourth
victim to Hyun-min, hoping that he'll be able to reconstruct the face. With the
skull in their house, his daughter begins to experience visions of a distraught
woman in a white robe. Hyun-min reconstructs the face of the victim, and it
soon transpires that they all suffered from a (fictitious) affliction known as
'beta-allergy'. Tests reveal that Hyun-min's daughter has the condition,
meaning that she has received the heart of someone who did. Romance blossoms
between Hynu-min and Sun-young, and as they investigate, they uncover an organ
transplant conspiracy - the murder victims were killed for their body parts,
and it becomes apparent that Dr. Yoon knows more than he's letting on. Just the poster is scary enough.
#3 Acacia-
Gods this movie....
this is a gem of a psychological horror movie. It's confusing, yet I love it!
The ending unravels it all. It shows how we create alternate realities in our
mind just because we can't handle reality and all that entails. I am not giving
the plot away, but involves an acacia tree, a boy and his family.
#4 Sin-de-re-la
Name sound familiar?
Remember Cinderella? No, this ain't her. But then again, not everyone just
inherits Cinderella's pure lovely face and long shining hair or Snow white's
ruby red lips and impossibly tiny waists without suffering the edge, do we?
Yes, plastic surgery. How does it tie up with horror? Watch to find out.
#5 Scary hair
You've seen Kayako's
long hair in The grudge and hate it. Well, here's a tale of two sisters, one
little one with leukemia, and one who buys a wig for her sad little sister. It
emphasizes on the old fact that one shouldn't disturb the dead, nor should we
steal from them. Forget the dead, it teaches us a lesson not to mock the
living. It doesn't matter what one weighs, their sexual orientation, their
height, their race, colour, caste, religion, faith, likes, dislikes and so on.
What matters is their attitude towards you and yours towards them. No one likes
to be bullied or mocked. It's sad, disturbing and leaves you with something to
think about.
#6 White: The melody of the curse-
Girl group "Pink
Dolls" is always pushed into the background by other popular idols. When
the girls release their new song "White", a remake from unknown
origins they become instant sensations. This
shows a glimpse into what our beloved singers have to face in the backstage,
the recording room, and their whole life. It is dark and twisted.
#7 The whispering corridor series
These movies are
renowned for their subjects. The series is notable for helping generate the
explosion of the New Korean Wave cinematic movement. They handle issues of
lesbian relationships, teen suicide, and the harsh schooling methods followed
in South Korea. The series goes as follows:
- Whispering corridors- The
very first movie. While investigating the school files, the frightened
teacher Mrs. Park startles and calls the young teacher Eun-young Hur,
telling her that the deceased Jin-ju Jang is back. The line dies and Mrs.
Park is attacked and killed by a ghost. On the next morning, the teenager
Jae-yi Yoon waits for her friend Ji-oh Lim, who has the ability to call
the spirits, and they begin a close friendship. The abusive and aggressive
Mr. Oh, a.k.a. Mad Dog, is the substitute of Mrs. Park and prohibits Ji-oh
to paint and compares the performances of the pretty So-young Park and the
weird Jung-sook Kim, raising a barrier between the two former friends.
Miss Hur misses her former friend Jin-ju, who committed suicide, and while
trying to contact her, she discloses a dark secret about the past of her
friend and Mrs. Park.(credits to Imdb)
The movie is worth a watch for sure, and has relatable characters. It deals with student life and forbidden relationships. - Memento Mori- The
second movie. This shows a lesbian couple in the school that is alienated
because of their love of the same gender. The pressure gets in the head of
one of the girls, and she commits suicide. The movie then shows their
relationship through the eyes of a third person, who finds a shared diary
between the two estranged lovers. It is learnt from this that one of the
girl's vengeful ghost is terrorizing the people of the school who
condemned their relationship through the diary. It is sad, and strikes a
chord in your heart. Yet, it delivers a nice dose of scary too.
- Wishing stairs- Two young beautiful friends, Jin-Sung and So-Hee, have
forged a "close" relationship, but this is challenged when the
ballet school holds its annual competition to see who will go forward to
the national competition and win a scholarship to a Russian ballet school.
The better of the two friends, So-Hee looks all set to win, when it
becomes apparent that Jin-Sung is becoming more and more jealous. She then
bumps into Hae-Ju, a former fat girl who stuffed her face all day and
appeared quite mad, who reveals that she is now thin because of the
wishing stairs and the synonymous appearance of the 29th step. Jin-Sung
then decides to give the stairs a go herself. When the 29th step appears
she wishes that she could be the one who wins the ballet scholarship. When
So-Hee falls down a flight of stairs and becomes crippled, she commits
suicide by jumping from her hospital window. With So-Hee gone, Jin-Sung
wins the ballet competition. Hae-Ju goes back to the wishing stairs and
calls for So-Hee to come back to life. This then sets up the rest of the
film that you will have to watch to find out what goes on. This shows how far a human will go to
satisfy their dark desires. Jin-sung wants to win so badly, she is ready
to mess with the supernatural. Hae-ju tries to do good with So-hee, but is
it really good she's after? and does it really do good to So-hee? With the
violent death she's been forced to die, will she be really okay to be
called back into this wretched maze we call life? Watch to find out!
- Voice- This installment follows the story of Young Eon, a timid high school student who dies mysteriously while singing in the school's music room. But even in death, Young Eon's voice continues to be heard by her best friend, Sun Min. Although startled by this supernatural development, Sun Min adapts rather quickly to the situation and tries to uncover the reasons for her friend's untimely demise. But Sun Min's absolute faith in her dearly departed friend is soon shaken when a plague of mysterious deaths start to occur on campus! Are these murders Young Eun's doing? Or could the culprit be someone far more sinister?Nothing more is needed to be said here, is it?
- A blood pledge- After her sister Eon-ju (Kyeong-ah Jang) commits suicide by jumping from the roof of her school building, Jeong-eon (Shin-ae Yu) chooses to investigate the unexpected incident further. Speaking to three of her sister's friends she is told that the four girls had previously made a suicide pact and that Eon-ju was the only one to fully commit. But now that the other girls have abandoned their friend and cheated the pledge, Eon-ju has come back from beyond the grave to make them pay. Blood pacts. Broken blood pacts. Suicide. Enough said.

Horror week day 1: Creepypastas continued
#Horrorweek
Hey guys! I'm finally back, and I am officially re-starting horror week! I'll be continuing with creepypasta today, and also introduce you to a parodied version of creepypasta or just plain shit-writing, called as crappypasta!
Day after tomorrow, I'll be discussing Asian horror(because asians are awesome at horror) as well as some pretty cool horror movies in the west, kay? So let's start!
Must read pasta list continued:
The Music Man http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/The_Music_Man
This is a lesser known pasta, but what I liked in this was the following:
1) The question answer format. This is a ritual pasta, but the question answer format in the middle is pretty good.
2)It does not rely on gore to be scary.
3)It manages to strike a chord in your heart as the author has discussed what and why we fear.
The one thing that I did not like was the ending. It leaves a lot to imagination, which is a good ending to any pasta, but somehow I feel it abruptly stopped. I'd like to see a prequel to this pasta, it needs to be continued.
The dead poets game http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/The_Dead_Poet's_Game
This is yet again a ritual pasta, and it starts out by describing a 'magician' in ye old days who did this ritual to ridicule it. Biggie newbie mistake. What if you are a spirit and someone does a summoning ritual juuust to prove that you're a big-time faker. Would you or would you not be offended? This ritual is very complex, and as usual, I will not recommend playing it. Also, you'll be playing on a poets grave with a dead person sitting opposite you and will drink with them. From what I hear, poets aren't exactly happy happy souls singing the joys of life. Just saying.
Psychosis http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/Psychosis
This is a gem. No wait, it's a legacy. It's very long pasta, but its worth a read. It raises a serious issue in an eye-catching, gripping manner. Definitely worth the full read. It gave me the spooks. There is practically no gore, but I loved it! Also, no ghosts. Yep I know. How is it a scary story? Go read it. NOW.

Honestly, I'm at fault. It's just been a horrible week with exams, hence I could't post anything. But please bear with me. I am continuing horror week, and plan to finish it properly before starting anything new. You shouldn't expect a post a day(I know, stupid, right) but yes, I WILL properly finish horror week.

Hola people! Okay, this is my first post, so I thought, why not start with a little introduction? I am going to be on an extended hiatus for a very long time, so I decieded not to post on any major topic just now. I am a teen, and obviously a human being. So, I give you all permission to criticize my work, just sign on these. *throws imaginary documents* I might appear as a wierd person, but trust me, I'm normal(mostly).
Okay, so let's get started. my posts are going to be based on a simple central idea: give your thoughts wings.I'm posting all of my quirky yet somewhere very relevant to our life thoughts. the are majorly centered on travel, society, love, happiness, anger and such. If you find yourself in ANY of them or have a quirky thought process like mine, do contact me. Now, I won't be available till next year. I know, I know. You're probably thinking I've got a busier schedule than the PM's, the way I said the above line, but hey, its true!! I've got tons of exams lined up this year and next. so mama and papa bear are like : NO INTERNET!!! and I;m like: Nevertheless, I'll try to post ASAP!!! Thanks for reading! and also make sure to thank your brain because it's by its graciousness that you could read this in your mind, not yelling out loud like a moron. Ciao!
